My wife and I found the Canterbury place and instantly fell in love! It is the most amazing venue and the staff was incredible!! They were so helpful throughout the wedding planning and on the day of, they were simply lifesavers! The food was incredible and the little creppes that we had for the reception were a hit! I have nothing but great things to say about the Canterbury Place!! We loved it!

Bride: My husband and I were both able to enjoy our night knowing our amazing hostess, Alicia,  was taking care of everything. We LOVED her! Everyone we worked with was great and took care of our every need plus some. The food was sooo yummy! We loved having our launcheon and reception at the Canterbury!!!

MAGICAL WEDDING DAY!! The staff at Canterbury Place are so friendly and accommodating. Elysha was not only one of the sweetest individuals I've ever met, she helped make my day flawless and so memorable. I looked, toured, and got quotes for over 5 venues in the Salt Lake City area and was most easily impressed with everything this venue had to offer. I wanted an indoor/outdoor event because you never know what the weather will be like in August in Utah! Too hot, storms, etc. I got married in the gorgeous courtyard, complete with trees and plants, and then moved inside for dinner and dancing. They are so flexible with all your wants and needs, and there aren't any crazy rules or huge responsibilities from the bride or groom or their families. They have an IMPRESSIVE amount of decor to chose from, and it's all included!! One big win for me was they decorate FOR YOU. Drop off anything extra you have and they will make it look like perfection. They have an eye for what looks best - they are truly professionals!! No one from my family needed to come early and help. The dining area had character, and the ballroom was stunning with all the mirrors. The catering was actually affordable (unlike everywhere else), tasted great, and it was just the right amount of food. My favorite room was the bridesmaids and brides room. It's upstairs in this used-to-be church. From the hardwood to the chandeliers, this place was EVERYTHING I imagined and dreamed of. I felt like a princess. From the first outreach to the venue, endless emails from the picky and nervous bride that I was, drop-ins to show family and my florist, the final consult, to the rehearsal and day-of, this team of individuals didn't miss a beat. I had a great duo on the day of - Elysha and Juli were so organized, so calm, and kept everything in check. I got to have special moments with my parents and best friends, and they were never in the way or bombarding me with tasks. I had ENDLESS amounts of people coming up to me during the event RAVING about the venue. Incredible venue, and an outstanding staff to work with. I'll never forget this perfect day!!

The wedding planning was so easy. Elysha was amazing and so sweet! My day was almost perfect. 2 complaints. The florist they recommend had terrible customer service and was over priced. If you don't eat all the food they won't let you take anything but dessert and rolls home. They give the rest to staff or the owner says its "his food". At the end of the night the owner got into with my parents and was very rude. He didn't even want to hear out their frustrations. There were so many stories about what actually happened to the food. First it was its thrown away then the staff gets it then the owner told my parents "they needed to get out of their heads that this is their food". So rude and disappointing. Just expect any left overs will feed staff and whomever the owner decides. Oh and it's not your food even though you paid for it. They did let us come early and get ready which was so convenient. Overall it was a beautiful day.
