It was my first time coming to eat here and overall it was a pretty good experience. Staff was attentive and food was great. I loved the calamari especially. The only problem we had was that my aunt was VERY clear that she had a dairy allergy so she asked for her steak and green beans butter free but the kitchen still brought out a steak with butter on it even after reminding them twice. After sending it back, they attempted to "burn" the butter off and re-served it which is where my aunt had an issue as she is SEVERELY allergic. The manager wasn't the best either because all she said was " I'm sorry I wasnt aware" FOUR TIMES. It was irritating but they did compensate with a new steak.

Outstanding Christmas Eve Dinner! From our tremendous waiter, Santos to the drinks and food, the Capital Grill experience was great! Food was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the service was perfect as well. We all cannot wait to return!

Love the Capital Grille, one of my favorite steak houses of all time. I have never had a bad meal and the service is always impeccable. Great place for celebrating special occasions or just a nice night out.

Second visit to this location for business. The place does get crowded especially on Thursday nights in this area surrounded by major tech companies since it really is one of the only high end restaurants in the area currently besides the Bancroft. The one issue I see with the Capital Grille is that it is overpriced, stuffy and just an old school restaurant. Sure the menu is littered with fancy cut of steak, seafood and other dishes including sides and appetizers. However when it really comes down to it, this is a fancy done up chain located in every major city that tries to put on a good impression but fails miserably. The food is basically average at best and the steaks are not the best I have ever had. This location is better than Chestnut Hill and Providence, but its still the same old thing. The service is okay and goes over the top to make an impression but the food falls flat. I was surprised by how average the Tuna tartare was and the bone in sirloin with gorgonzola topping was tough and over done. Surprised for a $60 steak how average it really was. Wine suggestion was on par but the sides of truffle fries was again over cooked and too crunchy. The end bill was what you would expect for two your basically paying downtown Manhattan prices for a place in the suburbs of Boston which is crazy. If your looking to make an impression, try going a mile down the street to the Bancroft which has been repeatedly voted best of Boston and is cheaper with better food and the same high end image.

This place is uber delicious!!!!! If you leave unsatisfied, then you did it all wrong. Nice place to have a fancy meal
