Closer to San Diego, Kittea in San Francisco has received a tremendous amount of response to a crowd sourcing request. In the first day of the request, the venture received 20 percent of its requested funding.
There's clearly a market for a cat cafe, and The Cat Cafe will be Southern California's first. Located in the Marina District of San Diego, The Cat Cafe will give residents, workers, and tourist a chance to enjoy coffee, tea, and light snacks while receiving the benefits of purr therapy.
