You walk in and order from the bar and choose to leave the tab open or close out. It's self seating and they will give you a number and bring your ordered items out to you. I ate the deviled eggs and the gumbo. The deviled eggs were so creamy and delicious I only would of added more hot sauce for July liking but they were good. The gumbo was warm and flavorful, it had a lot of green chilies in so it was a little spicy.
Cool, funky little bar with a wide selection of bourbon and a fair selection of local craft beer on tap. Friendly bartender. Good food. A few dartboards. Nice patio.Food: 4/5
Came for brunch with my girlfriend and some friends. I had the build your own biscuits and gravy with two biscuits, add a fried egg and bacon. It was really good, one of the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had. My girlfriend got the chicken and waffles which was very good also. I lived in Nola and this dish was very similar to one I had for brunch there. There were two bartenders you order at the bar, service was eh. It’s a very laid back place but almost not attentive. One thing that did annoy me was their website says “favorite non sports bar to watch sports”, they only have 3 tvs. Only 1 was actually turned on, and not on sports. On a day with nfl preseason games and first day of college football. There is a pool table and 3 dart boards here too. Also have frozen dog treats for $1.
Good prices, extremely kind staff. Patio can fill up, but early evening weekdays I’ve never had an issue finding a spot. Pool table and 4 dartboards. The veggie burger is one of the best I’ve had in the city!! Doesn’t fall apart, and has a high quality bun. One of my favorite spots for something more laid-back but not uptight.
Mimosa is a good deal at brunch. Biscuits are cakey and dry - not flakey and layered. Waffles are soft and cold served with ice cold syrup. Eggs and biscuits and even waffles were over-salted. No milk for the coffee, only oat milk….not a great experience.Food: 2/5
Great brunch! It wasn't crowded, the food was great, the atmosphere was relaxed and LGBTQ friendly, and the prices were great. I had a veggie burger and tots and they were both exceptionally good. My wife really liked the Bloody Mary. It's dog friendly and it looks like they have a lot of fun events on their schedule. There's a nice outdoor patio, darts, pool, etc.
Great neighborhood bar with Louisiana beer and Cajun food! Highly recommended. Also congrats to The Cavalier for winning best bloody mary in Austin again.Food: 5/5
One of my favorite neighborhood bars! Their food is great and they do offer different options for brunch. They are also one of the Austin FC Official bars and I love seeing other fans there to enjoy the game. They have a pool table and darts inside; outside you'll find a good amount of seating since they've converted part of the parking lot in in patio. They are also very much dog friendly and even have treats at the bar! They have recently opened up Wicky's Walk Up which has also has a great menu and different drink options. Don't forget they have Drag Brunch on Sundays and buy one get one Burger Night on Mondays. Highly recommend this place.
We LOVE this place. Great vibes, great music, fantastic staff, and amazing food. Casual neighborhood bar that is dog friendly. Plenty of parking, and conveniently located. 10/10
Really good brunch. I got the chicken and waffles and a Bloody Mary. The chicken was fried nicely, still juicy, and the breading wasted soggy. The waffles were alright; tastes like generic waffles but the whipped butter was good. I’d def go back to try the chicken biscuit. It looked delicious.
