The Cedar Chest Fine Jewelry was opened by a husband and wife team in 1975 and is still under the same family ownership today.

Story

The Cedar Chest Fine Jewelry was the first store on Sanibel Island to offer gold jewelry inspired by the beauty of our island paradise. We designed our own exclusive Sealife and Nature Jewelry collection which is still being created today. We also offer a complete selection of jewelry in gold and silver for any occasion as well as ancient and Spanish Treasure Coin Jewelry and Fine Estate Jewelry and Diamonds.

The store is closed on Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and during the last week in September.

Awesome store and staff! I have been buying jewelry from them since 1975. They have a fabulous selection and really great prices. Their sealife selection is the best around. I love to peek into their Estate cases when I visit. I always find a treasure to bring home.

Visited last June and the associate was super helpful and not pushy.  My fiancé called after we returned home and purchased a ring for me over the phone.  The ring was mailed to him and everything was great. Love the ring, loved the experience. We will stop back for sure..
