The Center for Effective Living has been the premier private practice group in Northeast Ohio for psychotherapy and counseling for individuals and families for over 30 years. Our experienced professional staff comes to us from the various disciplines within the mental health field. As a result of the diversity of our staff, we have people trained and knowledgeable in the latest methods and procedures to treat a wide range of problems from communication issues to mental health disorders.

Terrible service. And horrific time management skills. I went for testing 3 months ago and was told that it would take 2 sessions/appointments. Instead it took 4 and in-between they cancelled two appointments on me. Further prolonging the process. After finally finishing in July and attempting to schedule one last appointment to receive my results I have face roadblock after roadblock attempting to get them and have still yet to receive them months later. I am extremely disappointed in their support as well. As after multiple weeks of calling them and being told I would receive a call back I have yet to receive even 1 to even acknowledge what is going on. The entire thing has left a bitter taste in my mouth and feels like a downright scam.

The staff was very helpful for me and my kids. The counselors that we met with were very professional and helped our family through a hard time. It was very easy to reschedule and get in for appointments!

Don't go here unless you have hours to spare on the regular. You will wait a minimum of an hour past your appointment time EVERY time. And continuity of care? Forget it. Their staff come and go. I once called and told the front desk that I was in crisis and needed to see someone immediately. He told me there were no openings for 2 days. Not "Let me talk to someone and see if I can get you in." Didn't advise me to go the the ER. You're having thoughts of hurting yourself? Oh well. Sorry about your luck. The only positive thing I can say is that the counselors run on time but even their care is sub-par.

This practice has great professional service and really meets the needs of all people with mental health issues ! I am beyond impressed with how professional and pleasant the staff and counselors are. :)
