Lovely and comfy house and accommodating hosts.  The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast the next morning was very convenient and had a variety of things.  I would stay here again.

Our room and bathroom were very nice and clean. Nelli , the owner was very accommodating and pleasant. We will definitely stay here again. The whole house is absolutely beautiful and welcoming. Breakfast had a nice variety of Danish, donuts and toast. I believe I even saw gluten free bread.

Buyer Beware.  I booked and paid for my stay 2 months ago in June 2017 only to get a notification that they overbooked and cannot accommodate me and my family 3 days before our stay with no place else to go as everything is booked.

My husband and I wanted to stay near Cooperstown. The Checkered Moose had availability - a wonderful large king bedroom and bath- very well-appointed and cozy. The whole Inn has been remodeled and is lovely and comfortable. The staff is a very friendly and hospitable ; we felt right at home. Breakfast was  wonderful- lots of selections - fruits, cereals, baked goodies, jams, great coffee, cream, and more. Rates are very reasonable. What a find!!
