I used to stay here years ago when the property was under different owners and they were friendly,  pleasant and allowed dogs (small pups at no charge), 4 star place for sure! Recently, we checked in without a reservation and I assume there is new management now because the place isn’t the same. The Christmas decorations are minimal and they were not lit (it’s Christmas year round at this place, hence the name). After checking in, the manager at the office stipulated that we could not leave our certified service dog alone in the room while we went to dinner. And the manager has a dog onsite, and barked when he sensed our dog, our dog, not a peep. I explained that he is a service dog and I have a doctors letter...he said, I don’t believe that means he can stay alone in the room. Okay, checkout time. The only reason I’m giving this place 1 star is because the manager on site was generous to refund us (after asking if we used the room)...we had just checked in, walked in the room and left immediately (it was extremely musty, but it’s an older well kept place). We would have gladly stayed if the manager allowed us to leave our little guy in the room for a few hours. Luckily we found other accommodations.

Bad experience. Booked well in advance and secured the booking with a credit card. We didn't get any reminder of limited check-in times as common in other places. We got delayed in Yosemite Park due to summer/weekend popularity and couldn't call the property as there was no signal along the route. When we got a signal it was 21.30 and there was no response. We arrived to the property and no message/keys left for us. Had to drive in dark roads late at night with two kids to try and find vacancies to spend the night :(

Nice rooms. Nice bathrooms I don't even know why someone said the bathrooms need updating. I would stay here anytime I come out here. Friendly service! Hot tub is amazing in the cold!

Picture perfect in the snow. Cute little place. However the pillows small and flat. Don't forget your own lol.
