This was a great hotel! We were very impressed with the decor and the accompaniments. I would recommend staying here for visiting Clarkson University or SUNY Potsdam.

Great hotel. Very nice rooms. Clean and well maintained. Setting next to a beautiful river with a walkway along the side. Across the street from downtown Potsdam.

A pleasant surprise in the university town of Clarkson University.  The decor and decoration is of days of the past with none of the downside that can come with "old".   This is the place to book when you are ready to leave the traditional commercial hotel - has china-like service,  fresh strawberries, sweets and cakes laid out for guests during the day.   I loved the historical pictures of Clarkson, generously hung along the walls.

I had an amazing time here. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly

Great place to stay. Only issue is you have to pay for breakfast, but it is a very good breakfast.
