Enjoying a rich cup of coffee, relaxing with your friend as you reminisce common experiences, is one of life's great pleasures. Or maybe you simply want to escape to the imagination of your favorite author. Coffee and reading is a part of our culture, ingrained in our daily lives, passed down to us with fondness from our parents, and to them from their parents. We didn't become coffee drinkers as the result of some grand, sage advice. We did it simply by seeking to imitate the pleasure we witnessed in others.
This is the passion which led to The Coffee Shelf. Do you love great coffee? Come try ours. Or find your next favorite book. We are Chapin's answer to the corporate green giant, but we are much more. We are a place for community and friendship. We are a place for business meetings and book clubs, artist displays and author signings, and even poetry slams. But most of all, we are a place where you can get great coffee.
