The past 18 months have been some of the most stressful of my life. I was accused of a DWI after having 2 glasses of wine over the course of 4 hours. I immediately knew I wanted to fight it, but I had no idea where to turn or what to do. There was no evidence aside from word of mouth, but imagine my surprise when I suddenly was thrown into a whirlwind of turmoil. 

I researched and found many different options, but I chose Mimi Coffey because she is a board certified DWI lawyer, because she works out payment plans, and because she specializes ONLY in DWI cases. 

About the same time I had a friend going through the same thing in a case that looked just like mine. He chose a general criminal offense attorney who admittedly had impressive results to go with his extremely high price tag. 

My friend’s case, however similar, did not turn out as well as mine. I attribute this 100% to Mimi’s expertise in this area and the fact that she is so passionate about her clients. 

This nightmare is coming to a close for me and I am thrilled with the results and the fact that I didn’t have to remortgage my house in order to have the most highly qualified DWI attorney in the DFW fight for me and make sure justice works as it should. 

Don’t make the mistake of hiring an attorney who doesn’t specialize in this particular area the way my friend did. Choose Mimi and she will fight for you with compassion, understanding, and strength.

The Coffey Firm is an amazing criminal defense firm. I was a summer intern for the Fort Worth office in 2017. Mimi Coffey takes an active role in getting to know her clients and is a great leader to her associates and staff. The amount of time and effort they invested in each case was far and above my expectations! Mimi and her staff work extremely hard to always be up to date on the law. They treat every case as unique and use specific strategies to reach the best solution for each client. I will always be extremely grateful to Mimi for giving me the opportunity to be part of such a great team.

Although I didn't go for legal help I did walk into the office and spoke with a grey headed man. I presented my self as a local coach for youth football and was looking for sponsorship by a "local" business I see there bill boards everyday and thought it would be a great place for a sponsorship for our team since we always look for local businesses in the area as a way to promote  local youth sports along with local businesses. But when I asked him about it and gave him the proper paper work that is tax deductible at the end of the year. Well I was told not just a simple no. But was told ill give it to the right person But we do not support local youth sports that is not were we want our advertising money to go  a simple no or well get back to you would of been more great.. 
Good to know this firm don't support local youth sports.

I got a DWI in Tarrant county a while back.  I contacted a family member who is an Attorney and was a Texas Supreme Court Justice for 11 years.  I asked his advice on what to do, and his advice led me straight to The Coffey Firm.  After doing some research I felt confident that Mimi was the Attorney for me.  I was right!  During my arrest I virtually confessed to the officer several times.  I had never been in this situation before and didn't know what to do, and so I thought I would express my regret in the hopes that they would "go easy on me".  Bad idea!  Even with this factor in play with my case, Mimi was able to work a miracle in the courtroom.  Due to the results she produced for me, the DWI has not had any adverse effect on my life, or career.  I learned through the experience that Mimi's motivation is heart and compassion.  She's a protector.  I felt confident in her ability from start to finish!  I would recommend The Coffey Firm to anyone with great enthusiasm!
