months still no pool.. bed bugs all over the place and management won’t do anything about it! It is sad when you see mattresses at dumpsters every day. Don’t move here unless you want bed bugs! The management complains about foil covers being in windows to block the sun, yet can’t fix a damn pool for 4-5 months! The management has no room to talk and complain about having things in windows when they are breaking their own contract. Matter of fact, I’m putting foil covers in my windows right now. Try telling me not to and I’ll take the colony to court for breaking contract, the contract states there will be two pools available at all times for residents, well it’s been nearly 5 months and still no pool. Don’t move here unless you want to be bound by contracts that are expensive and then be blamed for things you can’t help, and also be told that they can’t help with bed bugs, and that there has been no pool for 4-5 months. Don’t move here

It has been nearly 2 months since the pools are out of commission. Don't stay here unless you don't like to swim but like to pay high rent with no pools. Still in contact with a lawyer considering in the lease (a law abiding contract) it states that TWO pools will be available at all times. I understand maintenance and cleaning, but 2 months?! Lawyer wants pictures and a copy of the lease. I'm not going to pay 900 a month when we don't have pools like our contract states. On top that, they have no signs stating that cars will be towed if they park in a covered spot. Frustrating.

Hi! I have being living here for a year, I moved in August 2016 and I live in the south part of the complex, at the beginning was very nice and clean, but they changed owners and everything started to change for worst. First the areas started to look dirty all around, the gym is a mess all dirty and most of  the equipment is not working, the pool in this part of the complex is always closed due to lack of maintenance you can see dirt in the bottom and algae growing in the water. My family and I are looking for other place to move in, I didn't renew the contract and that increased the rent for $100 more, and I have to put a 60 days notice letter before I move, I know in other places is a 30 days notice but here is not one of those places. I strongly NOT recommend this apartments complex do a good research before pick this one, for sure Desert Sands are better. Good Luck in your selection.

Don't live here if you are reading this, and  if you are the Colony and are reading this, don't tell me you have 'hired a pool company'. Haven't saw them out there, still no pools. That was your excuse for the past two months. Been since early July with no pool, it's September. So don't use that excuse because if there was a company, it would have been clean and running a month ago. On top of that, if you are looking for a gated community this is not the place to live. Main gate off Doan Street is open 24/7, and the gates for sidewalks have no locks so anybody can get in. Once my lease is up I'm moving somewhere that is better up kept. On top of all of this, garbage everywhere around the complex. Overall terrible experience, especially with the 120 degree heat and we as residents couldn't swim. Ridiculous. I know you that work for the colony do not work to resolve problems so I don't know why you are telling people that, and lying saying the 'pools will be open by monday' then a month goes by, y'all claim to have hired a company yet still no pools.. confused by that logic.

Don't move here. Especially if you like to swim and have privacy. Labor Day weekend and no pool.. haven't had a pool since July 4th.. it's September 4th. No pool. They say they have hired a company but that was a month ago. They lie and charge too much for rent with no pool and a trash complex. Call and call and call and no solution. Always the same BS. 'We hired a pool company' and 'it should be ready next week' well they said that 2 months ago. Longest week ever I guess.
