Story

The Colorado Room is a new college bar, fast service restaurant, and hang out. Featuring slow cooked meat sandwiches, wings, poutine, and made from scratch sides, all by local chef David Richter. We will also be serving Colorado's finest local craft beer and spirits. TCR will feature local art on the wall, and sell unique goods (hats, jewelry, and accessories) hand crafted from local designers. Boasting a large private back patio, and a front patio right off College Ave, TCR will be the new spot to enjoy all the sunshine we get!

The food here is really good all around. The staff is friendly, good atmosphere. The wait time here though is ridiculous. I was here at 10:00 pm mid week and ordered immediately, no line. It took all of a half hour to get my food, small order. I only saw them bring out a few plates in that time because they were not busy at all. This isn't the first time I've waited way too long. If your not in a hurry though check this place out. To be fair they gave me a card for a free meal for the wait without asking.

Sliders from heaven! Food: Everything was fantastic, the sides, the sauce, and every slider! Price: Crazy affordable for what you get! Staff: Helpful and friendly, very patient with first timers. Environment: Think Colorado obsessed lumber jack, it's perfect! Oddity: They have poutine on the menu, a Canadian dish. I've had this on Canada and The Colorado Room does it better! Will return: As often as I can!

I honestly do not understand all of the rave reviews here. Went the other day on a date and have been wanting to share the experience. The staff was friendly BUT, the list of negatives is substantial. The "Sammy's" were super dry with little to no flavor or sauce. The fries were soggier than a pair of jeans on a snowy day. The drinks were mediocre, and the wings tasted extremely strange. Not to mention the food took a long time to be delivered, and we were deterred by the kitchen staff sort of standing around in the back with their hands in their pockets. Wasn't a great experience, and for what we payed we could have gone somewhere else with way more quality and class.

This place is a bit cramped, parking is hard as it is located on the busiest streets of Fort Collins, it gets loud when football is on and I absolutely love it! Fantastic selection of food and beer. I went in here looking to sample a bunch of things that sounded good and nothing disappointed. Plus, you can avoid the starch and go for lettuce leaves on the sammys. Great little spot. It is easy to miss if you're not looking for it. I actually like that as I feel you have to "know" to go here.

“Waitstaff was SUPER. They make a special meal for a person on my team.” Had business dinner and the service and food was probably the best in Ft. Collins. Lots of sports memorabilia including a BSU helmet. I had an Old Fashioned drink (great), Also calamari which was very good.
