Love the tunes. Great vibe. The music there is unbeatable. It has 2 floors open on Saturdays. The lower floor has more traditional salsa / Latin. While on the bigger higher floor more contemporary sounds are being spinned

Disappointing how low this establishment has gone. It used to be a high caliber club but now it's just like all other clubs... cover charge for a place with mediocre DJS and overpriced crappy drinks and an uneven dance floor (the top)

The best NYC night club for 50+ years. Not as good as when it was on West 57 street when they had live bands four days per week, but still very good. Good crowd and A+ sound system.

Absolute garbage treatment of minorities despite touting diverse music ranging from hip-hop to Latin. After I went and changed to suit their "collared shirt and dress shoes" dress code, the bouncer said his boss "boss" told him something happened with me 'around the corner' and I just wasn't allowed in. Obviously nothing like this happened and then I called the actual club for a manager. When the supervisor came down instead and listened to my story, he turned to the bouncer and the bouncer whispered to him. The supervisor nodded and walked inside.... did not turn back around to address the CUSTOMER to explain anything to me. I understand clubs may be exclusive, but that does NOT mean you can be covertly discriminatory. I will be trying to elevate this situation as much as possible to anyone involved with this club. Overall disgusting experience and leaves me with a bad taste of NYC as a "melting pot".

I went to Copacabana for Ladies Night November 18, 2016. It was my first time at a night club and I got to celebrate my 21st! It was a fun night. Security had an eye on the dance floor the whole time, staff kept the floors clean to avoid falls and the bartender was quick with a smile. I paid $28 for two drinks and $6 for a bottle of water. I thought prices were a bit high but I also figured that it's the norm in most clubs. Check coat cost $4. The bathrooms were clean and there was staff inside selling amenities for women. The DJ was good. He played music that the crowd wanted, which is obviously a smart move. He wants people dancing. As a result there was a lot of back-in-day hip hop, some bachata, some electronic music, and a little bit of reggae. I left before it finished so I missed 2 hours of music. Overall it was a good experience. I was wondering if someone would be able to direct me to photos taken that night? Thanks.
