Hidden gem. This is one of (if not the) best science museums that we have ever been to. The demonstrations are interactive, educational and excellent. The exhibits are interesting and brilliantly presented. The facility is state of the art and is run as a truly non profit with all the revenue obviously going back into the location. The demonstrations give away the glass work that the master glass workers produce to the delight of the unsuspecting recipients. I loved the chess set of Catholics vs Jews. The detail is phenomenal and the message of the second generation master glass smith is genuine and heart felt...loved this family weekend.

One of my very favorite museums on the entire USA!!! They have demonstrations, special exhibits and a modern wing now. Plan on spending at least a day!! Your ticket is good for two days which can be easily done here. They also have a cafe, a make your own glass studio, and a Research Library as well as at least 5 demo studios. I would venture to say that this is the best glass museum in the world!

A beautiful museum with a thoughtful design. Each gallery is remarkably artistic and perfectly matches each theme. The glass itself is beautiful, and the staff is kind and friendly. There is also an opportunity to make your own glass, which, although expensive, is a wonderful experience. Parking isn't bad, but there's a short walk between the lots and museum. However, the signage in the main lots beside the welcome centre is a bit confusing.

The Corning Museum of Glass is truly one of the best museums in the nation; it has artistic exhibits of glass sculptures for the more aesthetically inclined but also several educational labs for children to interact with. I specifically recommend the live show in which they actually demonstrate the process of making glass as well as the café, which is not only cheap, but perhaps has the best food of any museum cafeteria I've ever been to. It's a great experience that I want to repeat again if I get the chance.

Amazing place to visit for both Kids and Adults alike. Every time we visit we plan a visit for our kids to the workshop so they can make something for themselves, Christmas Ornaments, Flowers, Nightlights, etc, etc, etc... My son absolutely loves to make them and then in the exposition next door to the workshop to do the scavenger hunt, and it seems to never get old. He is always looking forward to visiting the workshop and the gift shop (probably more then my anyone else). For a 10 year old that is amazing!
