Don't let the outside appearance fool you, this place is really good. My wife and I were driving through on a trip and decided to stop based on the reviews. When we arrived I almost left because it seemed a little run down. We were so glad we stopped. I had one of the best breakfasts I have had in years. My wife's omelette was amazing. It was very clean inside and the staff was super friendly!

We attempted to sit an a closed area,, closer to the kitchen and about 10 ft from the open area of tables. The hostess said it was fine, but we could hear the lady in the back was very angry that we dare sit at a different table. Her private comments (that we could clearly hear) were not kind and a bit hurtful. She could not have known that I have PTSD and it is difficult for me to sit so closely to others. I had left my service dog in the hotel and just wanted to stop in for a bite. I hope she will come to understand that she is in the business of filling tables, not herding cattle.
I left some cash on the table for our drinks and ran for the door. Running from her anger, over a simple 10 ft of space.

Great little restaurant in Llano Texas. Having the Chicken Fried Steak, mashed potatoes and green beans. I must admit it is better than Mama's in Burnett and cheaper.  That's the God's honest truth!

All you can eat soup salad = No soup available with the "salad bar" was about 2.5 x 1,5 feet of wilted lettuce, a couple dressings, carrot sticks, and cucumber slices. Slow service that also had none of the soft drinks listed on the menu. As well as not having several listed entrees.
