What a great addition to Greenwich! Delightful service by Jody at the ordering counter. A fantastic selection of breakfast, snack and lunch options. The food all looks extremely high quality and is very reasonably priced. We ordered hot sandwiches and didn’t have to wait too long for them. The TCT burger was delicious.. juicy, lots of cheese and the special sauce could of had more! was very tasty. My wife ordered the Turkey sandwich and had it warmed and was equally tasty. The children devoured their cookie. They also have a small ice cream selection. There are c8 small tables to sit at inside and a couple outside too. The only small issue is parking. Limited parking on site and so you’re better parking on a nearby street or parking lot.
Great Idea just falls short on execution. The pricing and quality of the products do not add up. I live within walking distance of the Country Table and will likely not be returning. The prices are just not in the same stratosphere as any of the delis, or lunch places in Greenwich. The most notable being, the $32 rotisserie chicken which I've attached a picture of. Hopefully they get their act together and revisit their pricing structure.
We ordered a portion of our Thanksgiving dinner for 16 from the Country Table. We were so pleased and satisfied in every way that we will definitely make it part of our T-day tradition. Our guest list doubled a few days before and we just weren't going to have enough food. So we supplemented with a half turkey, gravy, roasted veggies and an autumn salad from the Country Table. Everything was perfect but especially nice was the packaging and the reheat directions. Everything could be heated at 350 degrees in the packaging it came in less to clean up:. The directions were so clear with specific times and sequencing. We will definitely order some if not all of next year's Thanksgiving dinner from Geoff and his team. Thank you!! Melissa
I would have given this review 5 stars but they put American Cheese instead of Cheddar Cheese on my sandwich. By far the best Sandwich I've had in a very long time. Fresh turkey with arugula, sweet tomatoes, crispy bacon with just the right amount of mayonnaise. I only wish they didn't mistakenly give me American Cheese.... can't stand the stuff! The bread is cut thick and all the ingredients were fresh. I have to say I agree with other reviewers that it's a bit pricey but I personally don't mind paying a little for quality.
Fantastic little Cafe. Close to the airport, great service. I would definitely go back!
Disappointed. The chicken parm sandwich was mediocre. The chicken cutlets were so dry, they tasted like cardboard. Overcooked and overpriced.
Prices were insulting for the tiny portions. The $15 'Wich Came First sandwich was tiny to begin with, and half the sandwich had no chicken. The $17 French Dip was laughably small and mediocre. Left feeling ripped off.
Great food and beautiful space. Breakfast burrito is best around. Unique sandwiches and special touches like the local hot sauces make this a great addition. Made to order and high quality ingredients from an amazing chef is why you come, the atmosphere is why you stay and the flavors are why you come back. Support Greenwich natives in their efforts.
We’re really pleased to have this place come to the area, I think it was really needed. The sandwiches are a big portion and are made with quality ingredients on very thick hardy homemade bread! I appreciate places who you homemade quality or local ingredients. Service was good, Our meals took about 5 or so minutes to make, wasn’t long at all and we went around lunch time. They also have drinks such as lattes and treats like ice cream or baked goods I got an apple mini pie. If you want to sit or meet people for breakfast or lunch.. Inside it has a very warm and thought out decor.. I love the window seats!
Very happy with this new addition to Glenville! We first stopped in on a Saturday for lunch - I had a fantastic custom salad and my husband a yummy grilled chicken sandwich. We then decided to order some of their prepared food for dinner - meatloaf, mac & cheese and Brussels sprouts to take up for a family weekend in VT. Frank was super helpful with the ordering process and figuring out the appropriate amount of food for 6 people. Our order was ready exactly when I had asked for pick-up. Frank put heating instructions on the bag and it was delicious! A huge hit with everyone! Simple, easy, yummy dinner when we arrived to VT; I’ll definitely be ordering again!
