My coworker suggested we use Jeffrey Cowan to represent us in an employment dispute over the violation of our civil rights -- and I am SO glad we did!!  Jeffrey immediately put me at ease, listening to our case and helping us to understand the things that might have been confusing and also explaining we would not need to pay for anything up front. He was very straight forward about the possibilities for our case, and we knew that we were dealing with a very honest and adept man. Jeffrey proved these traits further in the closing of our case as he fought for us and spotted important clauses/issues we hadn't considered that might have hindered us in the future if we had not addressed them. If asked to refer a lawyer, I would not hesitate for a moment to suggest Jeffrey. He will fight for you and unequivocally do what's right.

Jeffrey Cowan has provided excellent legal representation and advice to our businesses over the last 20 years. He is sharp as a tack and has great insights into how the law impacts challenging situations businesses have to tackle over the years. He has developed employment agreements, litigated for us, advised us on conflicts in terms of resolution and what to ask for, and provided comfort in knowing that we are always well represented. On top of that, he is the antithesis of lawyer jokes--he's warm, friendly, a family man. We're happy to call him Counselor.

I am so relieved that I and my co-workers chose Jeffrey Cowan, one of Los Angeles's top employment lawyers. The company I worked for was cheating us out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Jeffrey spent months meeting with us, going over our"homework",and supervising his team's reviews of the company records, He also always answered all  of our questions. Thanks to Jeffrey's prep-work and strategy, the company (whose lawyers knew Jeffrey's from another case)paid six figures to avoid being sued. Jeffrey rocks; he got us more than I ever thought possible from this dirt bag employer .If my rights at work are ever violated again, Jeffrey Cowan is the lawyer I will call-without question. Amazing!

Super Lawyer of the Century. That's Jeffrey Cowan of the Cowan Law Firm.  I retained Los Angeles employment attorney Jeffrey Cowan after being fired from my job (and only shortly after being hired) in violation of Federal and California law. After my employer rejected Jeffrey's efforts to settle my claims without litigation, Jeffrey sued it and fought fiercely for me.  When the Company tried using dirty tricks (hiding witnesses), Jeffrey filed the necessary motions and won every one of them.  Jeffrey also represented my wife when she was deposed as a witness.  Finally, after Jeffrey caught the Company's owner in a lie about why I was fired, the Company gave up and agreed to compensate me fairly for the hell it had put me through.   I could not imagine having a better employment lawyer, I encourage anyone in Los Angeles or Southern California with a employment or other legal problem to make Jeffrey Cowan your first phone call.
