Today I went to Cozy Corner for the first time.  First of all when I go into a place to eat and where food is being prepared it must be very clean. The table had not been wiped down, there was knots and flies flying all around.  I looked under the table and it appeared the walls had not been wiped down and floor had not been sweep in a while. When you serve chicken and ribs things are going to get messy, so you have to wipe down your condiment bottles, and holders. Everything was greasy and had old sticky sauce. Now the waitress came to the table and gave us good suggestions on what to order, and said she would return with our sodas,  she never came back.  She went across to another table to take the order  of other customers who came in minutes after we did. After waiting more than 10 minutes we flagged down another waitress to bring our sodas and to take our order.  It was a long wait for the food.  While waiting some customers behind us had been waiting for a while before having to get up to ask for a menu from the same waitress.  One other customer seated in the middle of restaurant with a party of 5 plus said "what the hell is going on around here"  he then asked for free drinks because they had been waiting so long.  Our food finally came and it was nice and hot.  The food was good, but they definitely need a new recipe for the cornbread it was dry and crumbly.  I asked for a fresh piece and the waitress told me that they did not have any more ready.  I found that to be strange not have any more cornbread during a busy time of day.  Once we got our food we never received our silverware, so we asked a waitress who never returned with silverware. We then had to ask another waitress for silverware.  Wait staff need to be trained better, and on off days they need a through cleaning in the Cozzy Corner. When leaving a young man asked me how was everything.  I told him I was disappointed with all mentioned above.  He then took bill and gave me a percentage off for my trouble.  I appreciate him listening , so that they can better serve their customers.

Everything was fantastic! service was excellent, Eugene was great! Food was wonderful. Ordered 4 meats with 2 sides and cornbread and left taking 3 entrees home I was so full. Portion size is worth more they what you'll pay!
Try the cozzy for authentic, perfectly done southern food!

Great to see some southern flair bbq come to our area....my ribs honestly taste exactly like grilled chicken legs, so may have been some cooking mixing going on there. Not an issue for me, but wasn't a deal breaker for me. Very friendly server and staff overall. Great place.

I'm a southern man and I'm so glad that southern style soul food is available in this area! Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Yummy!

Im from New Orleans and fairly new to Wisconsin, so when they say southern food, I say bring it!!  Very impressed.  True southern comfort food that sticks to your ribs.  The gumbo fries were amazing!  Great traditional roux based chicken, sausage, and okra gumbo atop cheeses fries.  Cannot wait to go back and work my way down the menu.
