Started by Maurice Jennings, The Cutting Board originally opened in 1969 as The Patrician on South Church St. It eventually moved in 1974 to the Alamance Road location where it was heavily damaged by fire April 2004.

The food was awesome! I had a trip to the salad bar, a rib eye sandwich and a loaded sweet potato!  It was absolutely delicious.  We will return!

This is a special place that my mother and I go every Thursday at 4 and we sit in the upper deck. They know exactly what we want bring us a picture of tea. The most friendly Waiters. Great place for a family to go and enjoy dinner in a relaxing atmosphere

If your looking for family friendly...prices very reasonable and WONDERFUL FOOD!!! this is the place! Service was very good and VERY FRIENDLY. Looking forward to stopping again!

Food was really good , service was ok not great , and prices were to high for the amount and quality of food. I don't mind spending money on good food if it's work it, I just feel like this place is not worth the money.

When the best thing about it was the salad bar...Would not recommend the crab cakes. 
Tasted like something I got frozen from Kroger once...very bland with very little crab meat.
