if one wants to find culture and meet interesting. and intelligent people and gain an enrichment in life then this is the place to go visit. inside and out of the bar you will see a lot of works of art made by local artist, and if you ask around you may get the chance to meet and visit with an artist. check out the outside art on 4x8 pannels that were made to honor the great mexican artist and others. go to the bar on friday and saturday nights and you will find live preforming arts such as a poet, stand up comedians, open mic night, a live band or a soloist, a artist painting or giving lessons or just enjoy a nice glass of wine or a great beer of many choices. no hard alcohol will be found but no rift raft will be found either, and enjoy the wonderful staff and visit with them and the great people that go there.  there is so much more to comment on so go check the art bar out end enrich your life with culture.

They have many activities they either so it sponsor. They promote art and encourage kids to be more involved in art. They gist events for all ages the owner and her workers are friendly they make you feel welcome

In most West Texas towns u know what you will find. But here at the Desert Flower, you forget that you live in West TX. This place has helped bring life to a dismal downtown area. They have helped bring art awareness to plethora of cowboys and cowgirls here. For me, it's like being in Austin TX. They keep it weird and it works, thanks y'all 😉
