The Dish Cafe is a culinary delight bringing unique flavor combinations, fresh ingredients and made from scratch recipes to your table.

Story

Our concept was created by a group of partners who wanted to offer healthy food choices to a community that's quickly discovering the health benefits of natural and whole ingredients. We purchase our beef from Swift Level Farm in Lewisburg. Swift Level steers are farm raised and live on an all grass diet. They process in a USDA, Animal Welfare Approved facility and dry age for 45 days. Our producers restore the land, not deplete it and support family farms as a way of life in our region. Your purchase keeps the dollars and the food system local. Thank you for supporting a traditional farm.

I'm hoping maybe they were just having an off day today since I've heard such wonderful things about this place and was excited to go.  But first off, the health inspector was there too, so I'm sure that was challenging enough.  Secondly, we got seated in the bar area at lunchtime where it was very dark.  I mean,  you could hardly see the menus.   There were only four other couples in the entire place, so there was plenty of seating available. We had no trouble getting service.  The waitress was great, but there were only three of us and it took well over 45 minutes to get our food once it was ordered.  My Aunt loved her fish sandwich.  Me and my mom were both very unsatisfied with ours. My pimento cheese sandwich hardly had ANY pimento cheese on it.  You couldn't even taste it and the bread was burned.  My Mom had their tomato soup and grilled cheese and again,  her sandwich was also extremely well done and she said her soup tasted like someone poured out a can of diced tomatoes,  added pepper and warmed it up.  Very disappointing 😣.

Truly a delightful dining out.  The ingredients in the chef salad were so fresh and tasty i think they have a green house in back of kitchen. Good food great people and good clientele mix.  Ima go back. Often

There is nothing “typical” here!  Outstanding good, decadent food, and friendly service. 

The avocado brownies taste incredible!  The Porkette was delicious!  Grilled cheese and tomato, perfection. I’ll be back a few more times before we head home.

Love this place. They have TVs at each table so very nice for people who go to eat alone. Very nice staff and food is locally grown and tastes delicious. I haven't had a bad dish here. Can't go in without getting their pimento cheese and pretzel appetizer.
