Good office. Dr Griffin is the best, but disappointed that I had to wait OVER 1 HOUR and 15 minutes for an appt. that was scheduled weeks ago.

Watch your bills! Emory (The Doctor's Office) bills for moderate and complex (Level 4) office visits when they should be billing for less. $320 for a very simple 2-3 minute exam and diagnosis (mild acute sinus infection in healthy teen, treated with Augmentin). After I brought it to the office and doctor's attention, the doctor agreed that it should not be a 99214 and told billing to change it. But Rea, the very rude lady in the billing office, refused to adjust it to the correct code, saying it met all the criteria. (You can google CPT code 99214) It did not come anywhere close. This is more than most specialists charge for office visit for chronically ill and complex patients. Most people don't even look at their bills or EOB's because they just pay an office visit copay. The insurance companies don't know that they are being billed for the incorrect service unless the patients tell them. Over charging like this is one of the reasons insurance costs are on a continuous rise. My family and I have been going here for 14 years. We have now changed doctors because of this.
