Small little spot. Easily crowded but the workers there attend to everyone quickly so you're not standing in line for very long. Very kind people, answered any questions I had about it . I got the #1 which was vanilla ice cream with cookie crumbles and a wafer straw. I rate it a 5/5. The ice cream is extremely soft but not a melting mess and the cone was also soft at least softer than the average waffle cone. Similar to a waffle which made it a great pair with the ice cream. At the bottom of the cone there was a custard thing, not super sure what it was but it was good nonetheless. My partner got the "beach, please" which, I'm pretty sure, was strawberry and mango with coconut flakes. He described it as strawberry ice cream with mango sorbet. The end of his cone had something called "red bean", he wasn't a huge fan of it but the taste of it isn't very overbearing so he was still able to finish and enjoy the cone. He gives it a 4/5.
I finally got the viral taiyaki soft serve that I've been dreaming to try. I'm usually a matcha/hojicha girlie, but my friends told me the tea flavors are on the milder side. A bit sad that they no longer have black sesame flavor on their menu. The strawberry mango swirl was really good, not too sweet and tasted refreshing. I liked the strawberry side more while my bf preferred the mango side. He said the mango side had a sorbet-like texture. The soft serve was filled to the bottom. The red bean taiyaki was just okay. The azuki paste was a tad too mushy. Appreciate the speedy service. I got my soft serve within 5 minutes!
The taiyaki is ofc freshly and delicious. The smell hits you as soon as you walk in and it feels like a hug, it's so nice. The soft serve is also fantastic and it's really the perfect amount of ice cream that they put on top. The custard filling is great, have to try red bean next. Even the wafer stick they put in the ice cream is hella crisp and unexpectedly good!
Delicious ice cream! The matcha green tea and strawberry mango in a tayaki cone are the best. Indoor seating is limited. Usually a line of people outside but it goes pretty quickly. This location doesn't serve the souffle pancakes anymore, but the ice cream is well worth it.Food: 5/5
Great ice cream flavors! I recommend the toasted matcha! It was so tasty. The taiyaki was so delicious as well. Everything tasted so fresh and so flavorful. I recommend!Food: 5/5
This location is right in the heart of Williamsburg with a bunch of other spots around. It's a perfect place for a treat. I went in the afternoon and it wasn't too busy so it was a perfect time. The staff was nice and of course I had to go with a classic taiyaki ice cream with the matcha and hojicha mix. Drizzled some condensed milk on top and it was delicious. Matcha and hojicha are similar yet each of their flavors are distinct. The taiyaki was warm and crispy but it did get soggy as the ice cream melted. Nonetheless, delicious ice cream and had a great experience.
Taiyaki NYC in Williamsburg is a sweet haven! The fish-shaped cones with "Matcha ice-cream" is not only Instagram-worthy but also delicious. The cozy spot radiates a fun vibe, making it a perfect place to indulge in delightful taiyaki treats. A must-visit for those with a sweet tooth!. Definitely coming back for more.:Food: 5/5
Red been filling was ok. Icecream wasn’t very good. Closer to froyo but not in a great way. The actually taiyaki was overly crisp on the outside, but not too bad in the middle. Overall more sweet than actually flavorful. Staff was cool.
We can meet here for the free monopoly ice cream day and their service was above and beyond. They provided free waters, simples and even collect garbages when we waited on the line. I would come here even when it’s not free ice cream day. It tells a lot about their brand culture : thank you Taiyaki
I paid &9.50 for a soft serve chocolate ice cream, why? Because the cone was shaped like a fish? It wasn't even crispy. Mr. Softee, the ice cream truck is better and I'm pretty sure much cheaper.Food: 1/5
