The Duchess is a beautiful and luxurious 63 ft. Motor Yacht, captained and crewed with over 40 years on the water experience. Our Charters are 100% inclusive of all expense from, food, (Ocean Gourmet preparation), beverages, (wine, beer, alcohol, soft drinks), 2 Person Crew, fuel and the use of all amenities from Snorkel Equipment, Kayaks, SUP and Fishing Equipment.

The Duchess Yacht offers any type of Charter imaginable, from Harbor/Sunset Cruises, Day Cruises, Whale Watching Cruises, Overnight Cruises, and Overnight Destination Cruises as far as San Francisco to the North and San Diego to the South with the Channel Islands in-between.
The Duchess is the perfect place for a Marriage Proposal, a Photo Shoot or any other special occasion you may have. The Duchess offers full or half day Fishing Charters for Cod, Snapper, Halibut, Bass and other Bay species as well as overnight offshore Charters for larger Game Fish.

My husband and I booked The Duchess for a private 1/2 day fishing trip for his birthday and it was perfect. Logistics were clear, concise, and organized. Communication was easy via email, with complete instructions provided. Billing was also quick and easy done via email and also using cellphone credit card swiper. Beyond logistics the yacht has very well maintained equipment, clean, comfortable, and is beautifully appointed. The pictures on the website showcasing the yacht are accurate.  The crew of Captain Skip, Ft. Mate Joe, and Ms. Anna were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and PROFESSIONAL. They use ear pieces and radio to communicate with each other so they are not hollering instructions at each other. Food and beverages were provided as well to take care of our basic creature comforts. Our excursion was so enjoyable because of all of these things!! We caught a lot of fish and just happened see a whale, dolphins, sea lions, etc., but even if we had not, my husband and I agreed just the peace and simple joy of the company on The Duchess was well worth it. I highly recommend this team and all the have to offer.

What an absolute treat to have the opportunity to spend a day at sea on the Duchess, with Capt Skip and his crew.
Beyond professional, the entire experience from speaking to Skip beforehand and deciding what trip met our needs, to easy directions to the yacht, to spending the day at sea.
We cruised, we fished a bit... and I should really say we caught some really great fish as opposed to just fishing, we anchored off the Malibu coast... and we enjoyed a really lovely breakfast and lunch prepared by Anna.
We will do this again, and I look forward to working with the Duchess team again.  They anticipate your needs, they treat guests like family, and they are a class above.  Cheers Skip... and thank you.

I had an awesome 40th birthday on The Duchess with Skip and Anna! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I did a lot of research to find an experience that had a personal touch and it was well worth it. We had a 4-hour trip with brunch and whale watching. The boat was in immaculate condition and Skip and Anna made sure my friends and I had a great experience as well as kept a look out for whales. I would definitely recommend The Duchess. I look forward to taking another trip in the future.

I had the pleasure of filming aboard The Duchess with Captain Skip and his crew member Anna. It was a five star service from start to finish, delicious food and drink prepared for filming and crew, very accommodating to our filming requests and schedule over running and Skip lined the boat up to get the perfect sunset shot. 
I would highly recommend The Duchess for film crews and for rentals in general.

I surprised my husband and his friends with a day on the ocean with Captain Skip and his crew and I have to say Skip made the booking experience so easy and effortless. I probably called 20 fishing places in the Marina looking for a private charter and all the other captains were of no help until I called Skip. He went above and beyond to accommodate me and make this surprise the best for my husbands birthday. Not only was he a huge help to me but the guys said they had the best time on the boat. The boat is so beautiful and made them feel like royalty!!
