Me and my husband were staying at Uncle Duckys down the street in a yurt for our one year wedding anniversary. Our car had broke down so all of our reservations were cancelled and we thought our night was ruined. We then said we have the make the best of it, so we walked to the beer garden and let me tell you, it was not disappointing, it was completely the opposite! Amazing food, we sat outside at sunset, it was beautiful! Great beer selection as well! Friendly staff, and they made sure that our one year wedding anniversary was special! We will be coming back when we return.

Read the reviews and took our chances on this place. The negative reviews are completely accurate based on our experience tonight. Waited nearly 2 hours to get our food... while the restaurant was nearly EMPTY. For 3 beers (the only good part of our experience), 1 appetizer, and 2 entrees, and the shittiest of the shittiest service, the total was $52. Server was friendly, but took forever to tend to our table of 2. The servers don't know what they are doing. Food that was ready to be distributed to tables kept piling up at the kitchen window, getting cold, while servers dilly dallied behind the bar. There is NO management or hustle to keep things moving and the communication between waiters and cooks is awful. People next to us got up and left after waiting for an hour for their food with only a glass of water in front of them. The food was gross and flavorless. "Homemade" chips were stale and served with disgusting jarred salsa.. mmm yum. Please, don't go here. I don't know how this place is still in business. Don't waste your time and money like we did.

We gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because we didn't eat dinner. Beer and appetizer only. The staff were very friendly and helpful, offering tastes of the beer before we made final choices. Michigan-only beer with lots of variety on tap and in the bottle.  The choices included 3 UP breweries. We had the whitefish dip which was delicious. Good enough that we would go back for more if we were staying longer.

I would recommend this to anyone! If you've never stayed in a Yurt, it is definitely a very comfortable and relaxing experience!

Well, it's in Christmas, MI of all places, far from a where you'd expect very tasty bites, but the fish was well done, fries excellent, good selection of beers from the UP, and the wait staff friendly and efficient. Not expecting Noma in Copenhagen. Pleasant outdoor eating. How this place is during lake effect in December l wouldn't know, but it's summer and my kids liked it.
