It’s a great place. Service has improved over the years. Baseball themed. You can get a MLB helmet full of your favorite flavor.
I visit the Dugout each year with my young children because we live nearby. It was nice to see some of the same faces behind the counter as last year - polite teenagers with a smile on their faces is a rare thing to see these days. On Saturday I watched one of the employees, I think named Matt, deal with a difficult elderly man with grace and professionalism. Great employees and great milkshakes! We are happy to return.
Super busy place with a lot of kids working the scoops. Good portion sizes, but the price is not cheap.
this ice cream shop is really very good. My friends and I ordered the infamous grand slam. this however was a mistake on my part. I enjoyed every scoop of ice cream and all the amazing toppings. Unfortunately I’m allergic to dairy, although this shop has dairy free options I opted for normal ice cream. not even minutes after consuming the beast known as the grand slam I was throwing up in the bathroom. Again I’m allergic to dairy but for the sake of this review I will mention that knowing how awfully sick I got after eating this, I would in fact eat it again. I think this shop gets bonus points because myself and my three other friends were all in fact gaging in their bathroom. The bathroom is very large and clean hence why it was able to contain 4 teenage girls gagging. Overall I easily would recommend this place to anyone but if your allergic to dairy don’t order the grand slam.
Ice cream was very average . Not specifically fresh or tasty . Didn’t have much options . The ones on boardwalk tasted better I felt .
We waited over 20 minutes just to order even though it was not busy. The 2 girls working didn't seem very motivated and were obviously overwhelmed. The ice cream was really good and the theme was cute. I would go back as long as there was no more than 3 people ahead of me.
I really like that they're open late so if you ever get an ice cream craving later at night you can always get it here. They give a good bit of ice cream for each of their portion sizes.
Waited long enough that my ice cream melted. All because I ordered and paid for a waffle. Also it says on the door that the max amount of customers in the shop is 8 people, yet there were close to 30 people in the shop. If you’re looking for a good place to get ice cream I’d pick hassles over this place.
3 pieces of cookie dough in 2 scoops, actual chuncks of Ice in the Icecream. Waited for them to try and bake cookies and they burned them, and then tried to serve them to me. Save your money and buy a pint from the grocery store, it will taste better.
The place is always clean with a wide variety of icecreams and toppings, the workers are always helpful and you can make your own sundaes and get whatever you would like on it. The Dugout is kid friendly and the kids love that they can get icecream in baseball helmets. can’t forget the delish ashers chocolate covered pretzels. I love this icecream place will never stop going there. Thank you dugout staff!!
