Story

A Coffee & Espresso Bar located in Downingtown, Pa, The Farmhouse features specialty coffee and hand crafted beverages. Our in-house bakery features classic treats baked fresh daily with a focus on quality and taste. We are an extension of our community, a meeting place and see coffee as a way of bringing people together.

The Farmhouse offers a friendly and cozy atmosphere for our neighbors to gather. We look forward to bringing our love for specialty coffee, tasty treats and exceptional hospitality to the people of Chester County!

My friend and I just went for the first time. We arrived around 9am. There were only two other patrons inside so it was very quiet. The first thing I noticed was how clean The Farmhouse is. The staff is truly accommodating and genuinely friendly as my friend gave a very detailed and specific coffee order {Ha}! I ordered a 16 ounce Mocha which was absolutely delicious and a Blueberry Cobbler Muffin, it wasn't sickly sweet; it was just right! Yummy! We were lucky enough to get the two cozy chairs by the fireplace and sat and chatted for 2.5 hours. By the time we left The Farmhouse was full of chatter, laughter, babies cooing, and keyboards clicking. Great atmosphere. My only suggestion is to have more cozy chairs throughout the space, especially for people with disabilities like me.

Love the drinks, fresh baked goods, atmosphere and the management! It’s a breath of fresh air to see the owners working and it’s evident how much they care about their business/ customers! Not only are the owners and workers so friendly and inviting, but the shop itself makes you never want to leave! Plenty of space for kids and bigger groups or just for a quiet space to get some work done or meet a friend to relax! They’re now open on Sundays too! Once you try it, you’ll never want to leave!

Downingtown needed a little spot like this!! What a fantastic place to relax in a well-lit, cozy atmosphere. The coffee and pastries are fantastic, and I'm pretty picky about my coffee. :) Friendly staff and just a fun spot to hang out! I only wish they were open later!

Exactly what Downingtown has needed for such a long time! Great coffee and iced tea. Love the ambiance. Dana, the owner, is so sweet and engaging. Then I find out Dana bakes all of the baked goods herself from her own recipes. Now I'm really impressed!

Coffee is pretty bitter and I usually like strong coffee. I wish they had coconut milk available too. The room is pretty loud but all in all a good spot to get some work done. I like the back conference room too.
