Got two beers and a shepherds pie beef and it was delicious. Nice little spot to chill and hang out. Ended the night with a Guinness and a pretzel and it was good my guy. So glad that I came in n.nFood: 5/5
It's different from what I'm used to, because you sit yourself first and go and order to the bar, but the food and beer is awesome.Food: 5/5
Came on a Saturday for lunch. Lots of open seating. Nice outdoor area for my dog and I to enjoy some bangers and mash and a couple pints. Great place to experience some British fare! Also just noticed the Music playlist is mostly British bands. Nice detail
I was waiting for my ride and sat the the bar and I had the pleasure of having Tracy as my bar tender and I ordered an old fashioned and I’m impressed it was it was pretty good. I ordered stout beer and she recommended Porter. Which is really good. Ordered food and fish and chips was good!
Great if you like dirty pubs with terrible service. Waited 10 minutes and no one was even present at the bar. We left and went to another pub down the road. Recommend you do the same.Food: 1/5
A classic british pub with pub food and great drinks! Make sure to get a pint of Old Speckled Hen.Food: 5/5
The place was busy, which tells you a lot. The food was okay. It's pub food, but I've had better. And I like pub food. I ordered the bull dog, which said it was a sausage on a long bun. Turns out it was a banger on a standard hotdog bun. Tasteless. Scotch eggs were good. The kitchen needs to check their recipes and find some better ones
This pub style restaurant and bar is well designed, full of friendly staff, and they serve tasty foods, inspired by those Anglican island nations. I'd recommend visiting. Even better with a group of friends.Food: 5/5
Stopped in for the first time recently while in the area. Upon having a seat at the bar, we patiently waited for the bartender to get done texting to approach us. She was pleasant enough but was so busy with texting at the cash register screen in between each thing she did that the customer service was beyond lacking. She simply did what she needed to get by then back to her phone. Horrible. After a while of consistent bad service, we changed our plan to eat there and just left.
Tucked into old folsom is this treasure. Walking up ypu see a classic lookung pub with beautiful windows and painted white. Openung the heavy door leads to wood all over, brass finishes, and lots if character. The food menu is small but fits in with the overall vibes. They have food and drink specials. The old fashion comes with a show and the ither drinks come with warmth. Our bartender was great, even if he was busy. Definitely recommend this treasure.
