Luke and the Fenchel Defense Firm for the best blessing we could have stumbled upon. Some unforeseen troubles came our way, and we did a Google search that let us to him, so we set up a meeting and got some information. Luke took our case, and we were phenomenally impressed at his smooth and easy confidence with handling the details of everything that we had to go through. He was brilliant with the judge, kind and patient with us, and highly intelligent when it came to the ins-and-outs of law. Choosing Luke was probably the best decision we've ever made, and I've noticed that it says he is only a defense lawyer, but I would recommend pestering him to take your family court case as well, as he's fairly brilliant in that area as well. This guy is someone who cares about people, as well as his chosen career path. He's brilliant, and you'd do well to have him on your side.

Luke is the best.  

He's not the best because he's ten steps ahead of you, or because he's been doing this for years and has probably dealt with a case just like yours hundreds of times.  He's not the best because he's always there to answer your questions and continually insists on contacting him whenever you need.  He's not the best because he has relationships with the local judges, DA and local attorneys which will help with your case.  And he's not the best because he knows where his knowledge ends and when to refer you to someone more knowledgeable, if it's something outside his purview.   

The reason Luke is the best is because he genuinely cares about his clients.  He realizes that we are all imperfect and he wants you to have a second (or third, or fourth) chance.  For Luke, the responsibility to his clients is not just legal or ethical, but personal.  I can't express how grateful we are to him for helping us when things were at their worst.  THANK YOU.

I hired Luke to represent me in Tompkins county family court. He responded to me, filled papers in my case, and had the whole thing resolved in the time, I would of have imagined another lawyer have taken the time just to call me back once! Luke was efficient, empathetic, and cost-effective. I work weird hours. But Luke made time over a weekend and worked around my schedule. I don't qualify for a public defender. But Luke worked in a way that was mindful of my financial circumstances. I know Luke as a criminal defense lawyer. But if you can get him to do a family Court case. I would say "you couldn't find a better guy".

Luke came highly recommended by a dear friend for his legal expertise in the area and his flexibility to work around his clients' needs. I was pleased to find these recommendations to be true and fully justified: Luke is a consummate professional and has a very genuine personal care for his clients. 

Luke unsolicitedly put it upon himself to do whatever he could to actualize the best possible result given the situation. By following Luke's advice, I was able to avoid all possible charges in my case. He is extremely knowledgeable, and his gifted ability to put things into perspective made it extremely easy and pleasurable to work with him. Luke made himself available for a consultation within an hour of calling him; he is invaluably flexible and eager to adapt to each client's scenario however he can.

Luke's dedication to service and professionalism makes it highly worthwhile to call him for his services in Central New York.
