My group of 4 had lunch at Fillmore today. The waitress was very nice, however it took a Long time for her to take our order, and a long time to get served. When we finally got our food, after more than 30 minutes, it was a mixed bag. The Reuben sandwiches were very good. The Michigan salad was good, however it came with a hair on the plate. The fish tacos were very disappointing... very Little fish and it was in very small pieces. Overall, I was disappointed in taking my friends there. And, the acoustics are bad....it s very hard to hear people talk, even at your table. I will likely give it a try again as they have had some good reviews on their pizza (only available after 5). But the staff should probably up their game.

I really wanted to like this place but that did not end up happening. My friend and I walked in and stood for 10 minutes and were not greeted or asked if we wanted to be put on a wait list. There were 3 women in line in front of us who the staff was working with to find seating for. I made eye contact with about 5 or 6 staff and yet none of them approached us or greeted us. I had to walk up to the bar to ask to be put on a wait list to get seated. No one there acted like they were interested in helping us. Our server was hardly present, she was not there in the building after we placed our order and entire time we ate our food and it took forever for her to come to us to ask us if we were ready for the bill. After we put our money down she never showed up for a half an hour so I walked up to the bar and cashed out with someone else. On our way out we saw our server sitting chatting it up with another server in the building next door. HORRIBLE service. The only redeeming quality is the rustic atmosphere and the live music.

The Fillmore is a great spot in Manistee! Their food and drinks are spot on and always delicious. They have a market attached to the restaurant as well so it's a one stop shop!

Love this place! The ambience is great, the food is delish and the staff are friendly! Can't wait til they expand so there's more seating. Locally sourced as well!
