While the service was very good, my food was just average.  I ordered a club sandwich with smoked meats.  No hint of smokey taste whatever.  Just an everyday club sandwich. 
Nice decor plus the old restored fire engine in the lobby but no compelling reason to return.

Don't know if it was an"off"night or if my expectations were to high. My wife and I both got ribs and I did not think they had much BBQ flavor and not much meat on them. The beans were good and so was my hadbeen casserole. I also prefer tomato base sauce but overstate that BBQ sauce is typically regional in flavor and make up.

Best BBQ I've had and I've had lots in various states across the southeast and Texas. They are consistently good here and the staff is generally friendly. Highly recommend eating here if you are in or around Johnson city.

Very disappointed. Food was just so -so and waitress was very scattered . Had to wait for refills , appetizer and salads came at same time, and then we were asked if we wanted dessert before we were half way through our meal. When we did order dessert it was slapped on the end of our table with all our dirty dishes. We waited for her to take them away but she left them there and then brought the bill. 
Will not be coming back here any time soon  especially since we had issues on our prior visit .

Wonderful restaurant! great prices for great food. Peaceful dinning environment, Friendly staff, and great service.
