If you lean towards a more healthy "fish", this is the place to go. Fish were fried in a lighter than expected batter so we can taste the fish 😊. Fries were a little too salty. The 2 piece fish may not be enough to share if you eat only that. My friends agree, it really is meant for 1 person. Open style seating is fun

We told by a friend that if I visit tobermory, I must try the fish and chips because they are really good. I visited this restaurant with pretty high expectations but I was extremely disappointed. 

We ordered the fish taco and the fish and chips. They both weren't good. The fish taco had too much sauce which overpowered the fish. The fish inside the taco had bones. Same goes for the fish and chips. The fish and chips were not crispy. They didn't have that nice crispy battered crust. It seemed like it was literally little battered fried fish. The flavour was bland and there was also bones in it. The fries tasted stale and soggy.

The only good thing was, they were pet friendly and dogs were allowed on the patios. They had dog water bowls too but the water bowls did not contain fresh water. The bowl were dirty and had crumbs inside. 

Overall, the food was not fresh and hot. Would not recommend it.

Never have I seen staff so eager to please, super fast food delivered to our table of four. The food was great! My best restaurant review yet!!

The classic fish and chips were delicious! I also tried the calamari and clam chowder soup. It was all really good. The soup portion was insane! The service was also quick even though we were there at a busy time (long weekend around lunch hour).

The wait can be rather long if you go in big groups. If you are a pair you can get in quite quickly though. Good portion size and tons of fries come with the fish meal. Service isn't the fastest (like most small towns), but it's friendly and the food was very fresh.
