I needed to order flowers to send to a funeral in another state. When I called The Flower Pot the young man that answered was super helpful. He checked on the local florists where the flowers were going to find a good match for me, was totally transparent in what everything would cost and was completely respectful and gracious. I really like their procedure of sending an email to notify when the order is placed, again when the order is delivered and then a thank you email.

Weird gender roles ahoy: My buddy started work in a really high-stress place, so I thought I would send him some flowers to cheer him up. I ordered an arrangement based off the fact that it came in a really cute yellow pitcher that was exactly his style and something he could reuse (making up for the price). He sent me a pic of his delivery--a different flower arrangement in a plain white vase. I thought the order got mixed up so I called. Turns out they were out of one kind of flower, so they changed the arrangement entirely... and they only had floral pitchers, no yellow. I asked if he could get a floral pitcher, and they said "since you mentioned it was for a man, we thought he wouldn't like the floral pitcher!" HE'S. GETTING. FLOWERS. It would have been great if they contacted me when they saw everything they had for my order was out of stock and I could have told them, someone who appreciates flowers would enjoy a floral pitcher.

I'm a board member of Junior Achievement of East Tennessee. The Flower Pot did the table arrangements for our Business Hall of Fame gala dinner last week and they were amazing!
