A quintessential airport cafe. The proprietor Hokey Sloan is a musician but also cooks up a mean burger. The burgers are made with thick juicy patties and are filling, so bring an appetite. And great prices too!Food: 5/5
Super simple, no Frills sandwich and bar food. Food flavor and quality is fair, it's 'almost' on par with generic pubs. Doest seem like the cleanest place, but I think they are pretty hygienic. The charm here is that it's at the airport.Food: 3/5
It is a family run restaurant on the airfield in Lawrenceville that caters to the fly-in community as well as locals. Very reasonably priced, their burgers and fries are about the best I've ever had. Look at their menu online. I have never been disappointed in the 20+ years I've been going there.Food: 4/5
If you haven't treated yourself to this place, you are really missing something. The airplanes take off and land right by the restaurant. You can sit inside or outside, both offer a magnificent show. I believe they have live music Friday and Saturday nights, a Willie and Waylon Tribute Duo. Be sure and take care of your servers, Joy was very kind to us, as were the others. Food was good too. I got the Mechanics Burger, covered in chili and cheese, definitely needed to a toolbox to tackle that one, my friend got fried seafood, shrimp and clams I believe. They have sandwiches, salads, burgers, as well as some plates. Trying new places, spring or local businesses as we all get used to this new normal. Won't You Join Me?
I love this place. Been going to like 24 or more years. I Love their beer cheese soup... I usually get the mushroom swiss burger, its delicious too, but wasnt too hungry this time.Joy an Hokey are awesome. I love to hear Hokey sing.. love you guys...Food: 5/5
Changed to a no liquor policy. Joy was there, I hadn't seen her in years, and we talked for a while and she brought me a Coke. Just enough ice in it, it was good. Haven't eaten anything there in a long time, but I suppose the food is still good. It was great to see Joy, and the staff seemed to be very friendly. Did I already say that it was great to see Joy? She asked if I wanted more Coke, very attentive, and I said thanks maybe just a half a cup and she fixed me up just fine. Hokie wasn't there, and I'd have liked to see him. But he plays guitar and sings there about once a week. All in all it was a great visit, I enjoyed talking with Joy, and I'll definitely go back even though you can't get beer or Canadian Club or rye there any more. That's about it. Parking: A lot of spots. I was there at about 4:30. It probably gets pretty full at 6 or 7. Kid-friendliness: I might have seen one or two there. I'm sure they don't throw kids out in the parking lot.
The food is better than average, but I would recommend going when you have plenty of time my only experience is at lunchtime. Everyone is super friendly, and we love to sit on the patio and watch the planes takeoff and land.
Flew in on my way back to my Hometown. Walked in at 315 to learn they close from 3-5 on some days. When they learned I flew in they were very nice and fed me anyway! Place is aged but clean and looks like it gets rowdy in the evenings. Had a ceaser salad and veggie reuben. Was very good. Even got my plane fueled while I ate. Thanks!Food: 4/5
It's a great little Restaurant in Lawrenceville. I got the Philly Cheesteak and it was really great. Service is a bit slow but really helpful. Mr. Hokey Sloan did some great Music. Try this Place if you like Parking: Lots of Parking anytime Kid-friendliness: It's just Kid friendly; Includes Kids Menu's
Great airport restaurant. Not sure why but, they no longer serve alcohol? A burger always tastes better with a beer! Please consider bringing it back to the menu.Food: 5/5
