The Fort is a geographical landmark between Laurel and Joliet. It's where we meet when between places. The food is good. The servings large. It's where parents meet to discuss life, children and grandchildren. It's history one old timer at a time (I'm 50 and ate here as a child. Prime rib in my 30s and 2 hour breakfasts as a semi senior) It's good

The service was fast, friendly and fun. The prime rib was cooked to perfection. The music was great. Our experience tonight was very satisfying.

The staff was wonderful, the food (for me) was not good. My burger had an odd sour flavor to it and there was a piece of copper wire in my salad. My wife on the other hand my wife had the spegetti and enjoyed it. We will try it again in the future, but I won't be recommending it to friends and family.

The food was great, great atmosphere. The new upgrades and renovations are quite nice. Holly is just the best! She made our lunch even better! She's super fun and professional and an overall amazing waitress! Keep up the good work!
