THE FORT is not a national chain it is locally owned and is truly dedicated to serving the absolute best meals and service to our local residents and tourists alike. We are located just off of I-25 just east of McDonalds between the Center Street and Poplar exits. Driving through town and was not sure where to grab a bite to eat.  Drove pasta few diners but this place looked decent compared to the others.  A little dark inside but it is a pub as well.  Great service and the food was AMAZING.  The waitress sat us in our own area big enough to let my child run around and dance to the music.  After having been in the car for several hours this was a great way to let kidfo stretch out.  We will be back.  Oh, I had the steak salad with the wasabi dressing.  Portion was huge.  Mom had a steak cooked perfectly.

They got rid of the best bartender in town and put some guy who doesn't care if you want to spend money and give him a tip! I tip good but I'll never step another foot in the place!!

Great food. Great beer. Great service. Unique decor. Casual and comfortable inside.

This was my third visit. I have never had a good meal here but thought the third times a charm after all how bad can they mess up a burger? First of all it was supposed to be blackened. Nope! Then they placed it in a wire basket making it impossible to cut it in half. Then I tried to eat it and it was impossible to pick up. They put way to much sauce on it and I couldn't pick it up. So I ended up eating it with no bun and my fork. That's when I discovered that it was raw in the middle. Long and short of it... I ate the fries, they were soggy but at least I could pick them up. The waitress asked me how it was. I replied that it was raw. She said that she was sorry and just took it and walked away. Not going back! The reason I gave it two stars it because I like the look of the place. It would be a great place for a restaurant!

Stopped here passing through Casper.  Delicious!  I had a filet that was perfect.  My son's meal was always good.  Great service, too!
