This place always seems to be busy during the week at lunch, and it really isn't very hard to see why.

The wait staff takes very good care of you, and the place just feels so inviting. The food that I have tried there on several occasions is always good,

I am personally a big fan of their Glass Onion Soup, which is great for a chilly day. I have also enjoyed their hot chocolate, and various roast beef dishes. Anytime I go there, my friends also seem to get pretty darn good things to eat as well. Pay attention to the specials!

I was looking for options, a breakfast selection with a little bit of everything, and didn't want a Coney Island type place. Our waitress was so pleasant and accommodating. We got the Irish omelette, eggs Benedict, Mediterranean omelette, biscuits and gravy, pancake, and the parfait! Everything was EXCELLENT! The parfait was so delicious, as was the corned beef, which is made fresh in house along with the brisket, even the marble rye we got with the omelette stood out lol. All ingredients were quality and the food came up quick. They also use Great Lakes coffee, the coffee house downtown on Woodward, which is nice when things are locally sourced! The Glass Onion is a great addition to the rest of the small businesses that comprise most of Allen Park.

Took my daughter here for breakfast after a half day of school. The menu was full of great sounding dishes, had a hard time deciding whether to get lunch or breakfast dish. Had the Irish Benedict and it was delicious. The pumpkin spice waffle at the next table looked pretty good as well. Service was great and friendly. Will be looking for and excuse to go back soon.

I asked my girlfriend how I should rate this restaurant and she said "10/5". I completely agree with her. Their breakfast is fantastic and it's all reasonably priced. We will be going back soon.

This restaurant does everything right! Location, food, and staff are all way above average... Flavor, tempurature, and value were all there! I decided on the brisket hash with eggs over easy; I'd order this time after time! You're in good hands here!...
