Probably one of the most interesting places I’ve been to. Great staff. I just got a couple teas to-go, but this is a legitimate English tea time spot. To dine in you need reservation and they bring out full on “Bridgerton” style spread with all the fine china. Cool little experience. You can tell that all the staff love what they do. It’s a fine establishment.

Attended a Birthday party here today. I've been to many tea houses and this place is by far one of the best I've been to! Delicious tea and food, excellent service and Beautiful atmosphere, what more can you ask for, this place checks all the boxes!! I will be back! I highly recommend taking some scones or tea home.

What a wonderful experience!!! This was everything we could have wanted and more. The decor is exactly what you'd expect in a tea room. So many pretty tea sets decorate this themed dining room. We had an absolutely beautiful pink rose matching tea set at our table. They also have outdoor seating if you prefer that. There are so many different teas to choose from!! Definitely something for everyone. We chose to do the "Grand Tea" Afternoon Tea. What we were most pleased with were the gluten free options. They were absolutely delicious and they were able to do the whole Grand Tea gluten free which was amazing. We really enjoyed our experience here and will definitely be back.

We went for high tea at the Grand Tea room and had a grand time indeed! When our friend suggested we go, I was worried they wouldn’t have a vegan menu but they do! They also have an extensive list of teas — you’re sure to find something for everyone at your table!  There’s indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of street parking as well!  What a fun experience that you’ve got to try at least once!

So glad this afternoon tea spot is in Escondido. The staff and owner is super nice and the tea selection is great. I always take my friends here if they want to experience afternoon tea. ... Update: Went again for the Pride @ Prejudice show and it was great

I brought my mom here to celebrate Mother’s Day and it was amazing. The tea and pastries are incredible and the people that work there are very nice. Everything is arranged to make you feel comfortable and pampered. My mom loved it.

Absolutely delicious food.  The staff are very friendly and attentive.  We had a lovely time here and I would definitely go again.

went to grand tea room for a 4pm seating on a thursday. the shop is quaint and cute. they have a decent sized tea room in the back but you can tell they would fill up fast for mother’s day/holidays. there were 3 other groups there with us so it was less than half full.  we ordered decaf english breakfast and milk oolong -  both were tasty. we ordered the grand tea $40 that includes soup. we each ordered the tomato and pumpkin. solid flavor and size. we were also offered quiche or shepard’s pie went with the quiche - costco quiche is better and chose the cream scone 2 other options with a nut/fruit combo.  all the sandwiches, dessert, and fruit cup were delicious and it was SUPER filling. we took 2 of the 3 desserts home. overall a wonderful experience worth the price!

This was my third time visiting for a full Afternoon Tea experience and each time has been wonderful. My friend and I go once a year to celebrate something special! It is very pretty and "Tea-Roomish"  inside, with optional hats to wear for your duration. Even the bathrooms are noteworthy enough to visit.  There is a small but substantial gift shop at the front when you first walk in. Allergens and Vegan options are available. And you get an unlimited pot of tea too! This place has been here for a long time for a reason. They definitely know what they're doing!

My family made our 4th visit to "The Grand Tea Room" but this time we dined outside under a tent with other socially distanced  diners. This experience was just as exciting as our previous indoor experiences. Each table had their own coordinating tea sets and the food and teas were delicious!!! They have the best selections of loose teas to choose from. I purchased five loose teas..one that we drank during our "High Tea" and four additional flavors I'm excited to try. You can still wear your fancy hats to add to the experience. This is a Must Visit place! You need a reservation because they are always busy and popular but in my opinion...it's worth it!!
