Incredible natural wonder!  The crystal clear water in the cave is illuminated by a cave window letting in light from Georgian Bay!  If you have a snorkel mask, bring it!  The views under the water are even more spectacular!

Extremely popular for a reason, totally a must see. Lots of people turned away everyday as the parking lot quickly reaches capacity. New permit system in place, free, just get to the park office early to get your parking permit. 30 minute hike from parking lot to Grotto, trail is easy and we'll maintained. Bathrooms available at Grotto. Water is cold, as it's so deep, but the views are stunning. Grotto itself is a cave, with an underwater tunnel out to the bay. Getting down to the cave isn't for everyone, water can also be rough. There are lots of great views, trails, rock beaches, and beautiful sites to along the shore. Water shoes are a great idea.

Really great place. I recommend swimming to the grotto from the Indian Cove area as it is easier than to crawl down the hole. Water is quite cold though

Like what most people are saying. Get there super early or else there won't be enough parking for you. However they are building another lot (2017). If you in the area this is a must. The hike is very easy just the climb down inside the Grotto can be slippery.

One of my favourite places at tobermory! Highly recommended however would definitely suggest going early to beat the crowds as it gets super busy fairly quickly.
