The location and setting is very nice. We did not try the food but Im sure it would have been fine. The drinks, once received, were decent. Our bartender, however, was awful. Our first and only visit was on an off-season Saturday early afternoon. Of course there were people there but it was not busy by any means (speaking from 8 years of restaurant experience). The absolute lack of acknowledgement and delay in service was unbelievable. It wasn't just our party experiencing this, but a quite a few people on the unattended water side of the bar were having the same issue. To the management staff, if this is ever read: Our bartender was a petite female with dark hair who's name (according to our ticket) starts with C.

I and my family had a great time at The Gulf. First stopped by with my boyfriend and had no idea what to expect. Fantastic surprise! We loved the atmosphere and aesthetics. It was casual and friendly without being generic. We ordered two local beers and crab cakes which were amazing! - even if a tad over priced. There's a variety of all relaxing, unqiue, and comfortable seating options. The second time I went was the same day but with our family. It was more crowded a little later, but still plenty of seating. Child friendly but still fun for adults. Overall I would highly recommend making this a stop! I loved it more than any other restaurant we visited.

Great atmosphere! Waterfront restaurant. Very laid back. Grab a drink and enjoy one of the many options for the outside sitting or.grab a quick bite. U can even anchor a boat and come in for lunch.

It is a lovely open air casual eatery on the sound. Lots to see. Play ping pong. Gift shop. Lot of events going on on the weekend. Pull you boat right up to its board walk. Eat drink and be merry🌴

Great outdoor setting and ambiance right on the bay. A few games for kids to play so family friendly. I had the fried grouper sandwich, and it was amazing! The prices are a little high compared to a normal restaurant, but this isn't a normal restaurant considering it's in a tourist destination and is ON the water. The only reason they are getting 3 stars instead of 5 is that they forgot my sister's meal, and it took about 45 minutes to get it after everyone else had been served. They comped that meal, but it kind of ruined the experience a bit. And then they seemed annoyed that we wanted it comped rather than receive a free dessert. All in all a mostly good experience.
