For my car insurance coverage.  The Hartford ranks at the top of my list for no customer loyalty and complete dissatisfaction!  They have a very nice upfront manner, however when you really need them, they are NOT there for you.  If the Hartford feels that your claim is done, they will no longer return your phone calls or assist you to get any outstanding problems resolved.  I have been left BY THEM in a situation that I have to fight to get my own reimbursement (that they promised me they would get for me) and now, instead of keeping their promise, they just don't return my phone calls.  I have been sent to 3 different "supervisors" NONE of which have ever returned my phone calls.  This is a horrible company to deal with now.  and they had the nerve to send me a policy to buy for another year of coverage!  You can forget that!  I am going back to Statefarm, they might be more expensive, but they have NEVER treated me like my needs weren't their priority!

This is the worst company for STD people.  When I received my first check in the mail it was written from JP Morgan Chase Bank.  I took the check to Chase and a manager advise me that they no longer cash insurance checks, even though the check is written from their account.  They advised me to open an account and deposit the check.  The funds would be ready within 7 to 10 business days.  My check was for 100.00,  I also took the check to my Bank, Bank of America who would not cash the check without depositing the check.   What is the purpose of a disabled person not being able to cash a check fo 100.00?  I understand about insurance fraud, but they need to setup an agreement with Chase giving them the right to cash checks right away.  We are having health concerns, and now we cant cash a check for 100.00.  The rep I spoke to at The Hartford At Work told me thats how it goes.  These people are cold hearted!
