Great place for old-fashioned American diner food. The restaurant is kept exceptionally clean inside, and has a 1950's vibe, from the music to the decor to the (surprisingly extensive) menu. They're famous for their pastrami, which you can get on a sandwich, on a hamburger, or even on their fries! But they also make tasty chili that makes for a great chili burger or chili dog. The food is well made but cheap! (And their onion rings are spectacular!) Be warned, their sides are eNORmous! A single order of onion rings could easily feed 2-4 people, depending on how hungry your party is. Highly recommended.

Always busy, but moving. Pastrami burger is fire! A must try! A good amount of pastrami on meat patty, pickles, lettuce, and tomatoes. Chili cheese fries are HUGE! If you got a small appetite then this is enough without a burger. The chili cheese fries were good and they add lots of cheese. Overall good experience! Recommended checkout spot!

They are always busy. The food is great but the prices are a bit high. If the prices were more affordable I would go more often. The last time I was here was 2 years ago. It was a nice change from all the rest but only can go occasionally.

The Hat is a staple of Simi Valley. Food is always really good. Drive-thru could be faster but it's not a major gripe.

The pastrami dip is the best I've ever had anywhere or time. Cheese, mustard, pickles and double dipped is a must. The chili cheese fries are on point and can easily feed six people. Also a must is the orange bang or pina colada bang for a drink. Parking is normally easy, the line moves pretty quick.
