Went there yesterday Oct 21st 2017.    When we first got there the dinning room was pretty busy so we went to the little side place on the outside that was part of the bar that was serving food,  there was  six people in line and we could get something quick.  A half hour later!!! We got our turn to order and they were out of what we wanted. So we went inside, and the dinning room had cleared out a lot.  We picked a table by the bar and I went and ordered a couple of drinks I didn't see anybody taking orders,  and asked the bartender is there someone taking orders or can I order from him, he said I could order from him and I did.  An hour later during which time a table of 6, table of 5 and table of 4 came in after us, they all got their food!! I got that bartender back and asked what happened to our food and he said they were really rushed that day and he would check, 10 min later he came back and told us it would be out in about 10 minutes.  I wasn't real happy about it but we waited that long and were hungry and so we'll wait another 10 min.  Then another couple came in an sat in the dining room a waitress took their order. We waited another 20 min, still  no food, and then the couple that just came in got their order.  What the heck!  Got the bartender again and asks why we didn't get our food and all those people came in after us got theirs, he went into the kitchen and asked what happened to our food, he came back saying they could not give us a definite time.  Are you kidding!!!  We did not order anything special, a BLT, Chicken sandwich and a burger.  We left.  I don't know what their problem is but I can tell you I will never go back there again .  It actually look like good food.  To bad we didn't get any.

The food is delicious and the location right on the river makes for beautiful scenery. It's unfortunate that both times we have gone the service really sucked. The first time, it took more than a half an hour to just get our drinks, including water for the table. It was even longer to get our food. The second visit, we were seated and after 15 minutes we decided to leave. We sat at our table not even greeted by the waiting staff. Each waitress walked passed our table at least two times. 

On our way out, I thought I'd let the hostess know why we were leaving and to explain we will never be back, when a man from the kitchen came out to listen to my story. Took my information and said he wanted to make it right. He was going to send us coupons to come back in and have dinner and drinks on them. Three weeks later and nothing. (Note, I didn't expect anything when telling the hostess the story and still don't)

Management needs to step it up, get organized and hire/train their staff.

Much better then when I went in 2016. The food before was cold and unappealing. New menu is wonderful with great choices

it was posted hour wait I took that to mean before getting a table,  no that meant an hour after you got your salad before you got your entrée.  All the people around us that sat down after us ate before we did.  We ordered prime rib and a fillet, the only thing that had to actually be cooked was the medrare fillet.  That would only take 8 mins.  When I finally got our food ,after we said we were leaving,  my 12oz prime rib that I paid $19 for was an 8oz .  So I was charged almost $2 an oz.  I will never tell any one to go there.

One of the only places on the water in Jefferson, downtown. Food for the most part was very good.  Was disappointed in the fish fry.  Chicken sandwichs are very good. Drinks pretty on point. Pizza is very thin but good.
