Museum Experience
How did Milton Hershey go from bankruptcy to brilliance, transforming chocolate from a luxury to an everyday treat? How did he create a community and why did he give away his fortune…twice? That’s the Hershey story.

The Chocolate Lab
Inspired by Milton Hershey's flair for experimentation, the Chocolate Lab explores the unique qualities of chocolate through 45 minute hands-on experiences.

Tastings: Chocolate From Around the World
Experience warm drinking samples from six of the world's finest cocoa-growing regions.

The Pantry Cafe
The Pantry Cafe offers a simple, sophisticated atmosphere to enjoy fresh sandwiches, crisp salads and deliciously creative desserts.

Interesting place. Got some cool exhibits, but it seems fairly geared towards children and lots of interactive displays. I prefer to see more historical pieces and less touch screen. They do have some cool old machinery though that actually turns on, so that was interesting to see.

Nice place to visit. If you want to buy Hershey products, they have them all. You're not getting any discount. I liked the museum better and there is a free shuttle that runs from Chocolate World to the museum. We parked at the museum and took the shuttle. It was much easier to park.

The hot coco tasting from around the world is well worth the cost. It was amazing the taste differences between them. The worker exhibit is hands on and very interesting and entertaining. My wife and I both enjoyed it as well as my 3 and 4 year old girls. Upstairs there was a scavenger hunt my kids had a lot of fun doing. You had to find different items around the museum.

This is an excellent museum about Milton Hershey and the town. Has a nice cafe inside and you can make your own treats in the Chocolate Lab. There is free parking behind the building. Well worth a stop.

If you visiting Hershey, take the time to stop in here. It is not a huge time commitment, you learn a lot about a pretty good guy who lived the American dream! It is pretty much self guided at your own pace, though there a few folks around to answer questions if you want. Don't screw around...Just go for the museum and chocolate lab package. You get to listen to a couple fun little ladies tell you about cocao beans and you get to make your own little personal chocolate bar. Nothing fancy, but some great Americana here. Take it in. Make sure to stop in for the (drinkable) chocolate tasting before you leave. You will be impressed by the wide variation of the flavors. A great place to bring the kids or connect with your own 'inner kid' if you don't have any or yours are long gone!
