Janelle was an amazing server. She cared and made sure everything was perfect. She made the experience that much better. The food was amazing, salmon egg rolls and catfish and grits is a winner. You will not be disappointed! Come get yours!   Parking: Parking around is better, you pay valet to park your own car not cool.

We visited this place mid afternoon so therefore less of a crowd. When we walked in the entry was clean and inviting, and there was place mixture of music.  The service was okay, I had to get the bartender's attention a couple of times which was odd because again it wasn’t crowded. They were prepping and restocking at the time, but someone should have been attentive to the customers that were sitting in my opinion so this impacted the overall service and experience for me.  Now the salmon egg rolls were delicious and tasteful with flavor, yes I would recommend them; However that chicken pasta was a no.

The food is absolutely delicious! However the service could be improved big time in my opinion. Every time I go there aren’t many customers in the restaurant but the service is so slow! What I have come to realize is the staff is having gossip hour in the hookah area. The tip is already included so it makes me feel like they can provide any service they would like because they are still getting paid.

I had a fantastic dining experience at The Hive Buckhead! The catfish and grits were a standout—crispy, tender, and perfectly paired with the creamy grits. The steak and eggs were equally impressive, with the steak cooked to perfection and the eggs fluffy and rich.  The Peach Tree Traffic cocktail was a delightful addition, offering a refreshing, peachy sweetness that complemented my meal wonderfully.  The ambiance of The Hive Buckhead is a perfect bar setting—comfortable and stylish, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a meal. My server, DJ, was incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring that everything was just right.  I highly recommend The Hive Buckhead for anyone looking for great food, drinks, and excellent service in a welcoming bar atmosphere!

I enjoyed the Hive. I kept seeing the chicken and waffles around me and next time I want to try that, because it looks great. I had the shrimp and grits, and it was good, but not enough creole sauce. I feel like I ran out of the sauce half through the grits. Flavor was great and I had a side of eggs as well. Pomegranate margarita was tasty

The place has a really good vibe. We were taken care of by Jay. The service was awesome. The drinks have a very good flavor and are strong. The food was delicious. We had the Cajun pasta, and my personal recommendation would be the Velvet Chicken. It's so good.Food: 5/5

Extremely long wait so was thrilled when I found 2 spots at the bar. It took a while to get them clear but Nikki was so cute I didn’t mind. After that we set there a good 10-15 minutes watching various servers, bartenders, host come and go. After a certain point I just blatantly asked the bartender in front of us who hadn’t spoken was there someone who was supposed to be helping us?? He pointed to Nikki who was rushing doing god knows what, so we continued to wait for her.  As a former hospitality professional a restaurant only works if you function as a team. ESPECIALLY a bar, leaving guest unattended because it’s not what you are assigned to or your section makes the whole restaurant lose … but maybe not when there’s an automatic 20% included.

Our Server Charity was amazing! She was kind enough to ask if snapper could be made for my table inspire of it being a dinner item and we were there for brunch - and it was DELICIOUS!!! Super sweet! We’ll definitely be back.Food: 5/5

The three stars is for the food and food ONLY. I had the fried lobster tail and red velvet waffles and chicken. It was delicious! However, the wait for the food was over an hour. It seemed like they catered more towards those who had hookah service.  The service was not good at all. I kept having to flag the server down and ask the bartender for condiments and our check. Lastly, the bathroom seemed like it hasn’t been cleaned in days.
