First impression is this place is just a hidden gem! It's not isolated in the wilderness, but it definitely feels like you're walking into another world going into the Hog Wallow Pub. It has a rustic cabin type feel initially when you first walk in with a nice open space. And then you get to the patio which is just stunning. It has many wonderful, big, mature plants and trees everywhere and feels very secluded. The best part is there are misters outside on the patio, pretty well hidden except for the mist for the really hot days. 
There is a wonderful selection of beer with many on tap options and the food is absolutely incredible. I will definitely be back to just enjoy an evening with friends!

Best place for live blues music in the valley. The staff is awesome. They have an awesome patio to sit on. Food is great too.

Today me and a few friends did a road trip on our bikes from Sandy to SLC for brunch and back. We stopped at multiple bars on the way back for a beer and a break. Hogs was happy to let us have our bikes on their amazing patio... thanks and we will be back often.

Patio is excellent. Food is good and staff is friendly ... unfortunately if you go for the live music there is no telling what your going to get... anything from Jimmy Buffet to Gangster rap. The descriptions of the bands may or may not actually match what they decide to do once they get on stage.

This is supposed to be one of the best patios in SLC. And it is great, lots of shade and misters for a hot day. But, and this is a big but, they allow smoking on the patio. How is this still a thing? The service was terrible, it took 15 minutes to order my first beer. We were done with our first round by the time we ordered, and to do that we had to flag someone down. The food was pretty mediocre, which I would have totally overlooked if it weren't for the smoking.
