I ordered something online which they cancelled almost immediately because they were out of stock. However, they still charged my card and took my money. When I called, not only did they confirm that they were the ones that cancelled the order but no refund process had been initiated. They charged me and were going to take my money without saying a word about it. First time I called they said they initiated the refund which is untrue. The charge posted to my account. When I called a second time(1 hr on the phone) they gave me the runaround and basically came to the conclusion that even though they never sold me anything I will be out the money for around 10 business days, 2 full WEEKS! And thats if I get the money back. Do not buy online from home depot! They charge you immediately and apparently hold your money hostage! It seems to me that they are hoping that you don't notice the charge and are trying to keep peoples money due to the high volume of shopping done during the holiday season. Beware!!!!!

Store is laid out poorly and there are limited employees to approach with questions.

C'mon, it's the Home Depot. Consistent, lots of inventory. Staff is helpful but they're not electricians, plumbers, painters or decorators. They know their supplies, though.
