If I could give this Home Depot 0 Stars, I would. Back on 5/23/16 I ordered a simple carpet runner for my staircase. It should have only taken a week or two to arrive and be scheduled to install. This did not happen. I had not received any calls or updates from Home Depot about when my order arrived or when it would be installed. Many phone calls later I found out that it went to the wrong Home Depot, in Myrtle Beach for some reason. Finally after many calls I was able to get a scheduled install date of 6/22/16, almost a full month after ordering my runner. I stayed home from work all day and finally received a call that they would not be able to install the runner that day. They rescheduled for 6/28/16. I stayed home once again and the same story....no runner. Finally it was rescheduled for 7/7/16 and installed that day. I was promised by Leroy, the install manager, a refund on the total cost of installation due to the miscommunication on Home Depot's part once the runner was installed. It was never given to me after many attempts to receive this refund. I emailed Leroy twice, called his office, his cell...nothing. Additionally, Penny who works on installations at Home Depot and who I was told many times would be the only person who could help me, failed to call me back many times about my inquiries of where my runner was, when it would be installed, and where my refund was. Now I have resorted to calling Home Depot Corporate since my local store is unwilling to help me. I have gone through such a run with the incompetent people working at this location, I will never use them again. Simple things like keeping the customer informed, calling customers back, and holding true to the promises they make is what makes for adequate customer service and this location is severely lacking in that department.

Lazy employees who avoid you. You can stand waiting for help for over 20 minutes and see a myriad of employees walk by ignoring you.
