If you know what you need and need zero help, this store is fine, maybe even good. If you require any assistance, you're toast. 

I recently needed a board cut and spoke to three different people over a 20 minute period. None actually provided help. No one came back to tell me, sorry we can't help because "x". 

When cashier asked if I found everything ok, I told her "found everything but no one ever came to help me in lumber". She literally never said anything else to me the rest of the transaction. Not even, bye, thanks, here's your receipt... Nothing. Customer service at this place is seemingly discouraged by management.

They were out of an item on the shelf.  Had to go find someone.  They were stocking shelves.  They said they would be right with me.  After 8 minutes of waiting I went back to find them and someone else had to stop them to get them to help a customer.  Then after 5 minutes of pointing out to them the item up on a shelf, they finally got it down.  Everyone was pleasant enough.  Just not putting a customer's needs was a little surprising.

I have come to your store today was the second time and had the best service from all employees especially in your lumber department I had surgery on my knee and I limped in there they got me a electric chair and the gentleman got a couple employees to pull the wood that I need and they loaded it for me this is something that I feel that needs to be addressed because that mean so much to your customers to get such outstanding service at a blink of an eye this is what keeps us coming back this is my third house that I have been remodeling in restoring and putting on the market and I will always keep using Home Depot thank you for the service please don't fix something if it's not broke

Can almost always find what I'm looking for at Home Depot. The staff are helpful and happy.
